One step closer

With the roof now finished, pipework and connections largely completed, and electrical and mechanical components mostly installed – we’ll be doing a test fill at the end of September to check everything’s in perfect condition.

Commissioning works will then enable Omāroro to be handed over to Wellington Water to operate on behalf of Wellington City.

In the new year, we will be working on drainage and irrigation improvements in order to reinstate the playing fields and commencing work for the track from Dorking road to allow service vehicles to access the reservoir roof.
