Vella Street Wastewater renewal project
On behalf of Porirua City Council, we are renewing a wastewater pipe situated behind the Titahi Bay boatsheds, to improve network performance and reduce leakage.
The wastewater pipe is nearing the end of its design life and we need to renew it to reduce leaks and increase the resilience of the network.
The work is planned to start 7am on 4/12/23 and expected to take 2-3 weeks to complete. During the works the footpath behind the boat sheds will be temporarily closed but access will be available in front of the boat sheds.
