Works commenced at Cockayne Road and Imlay Crescent on Monday 12 January, with our contractors G P Friel Ltd excavating each end of the pipe to prepare it for cleaning.

Earlier this year, one of the graduate engineers from Wellington Water’s Network Operations team together with contractor Mac Engineering completed two projects on drainage pipelines – not the most glamorous work, but critical for the health of the wastewater network and our natural environment!

Willeston St Underground Pump Station

Following the successful connection of Whakawhirinaki Silverstream Pipe Bridge to the drinking water network, traffic management was fully removed from SH2 at Silverstream last week.
